   Where the border line between an enemy , prey and friend?
   This prairie dog gradually decreased his fear against me for 30 minutes, and then finally came by my foot.
   Child rearing animals has an affection, a playfulness, a curiosity, an ease of mind with company, an instinctive fear and a learned fear. 
   I believe that, in an isolated wilderness, to observe a difference between an instinctive fear and a learned fear I have lets me understand the feelings of bears attacking human and playing with human.
　
　敵と餌と友達（自分と同じ種かどうかは区別がつくはずだ。だから仲間というよりは友達なのだろう）の境界は何処にある？
　この野生のプレーリードッグは、30分かけて警戒心を解き、僕の足元に寄ってきた。
　子を育てる動物達が持っているのだろう、愛情と、遊び心と、好奇心と、仲間がいることによる安心感。そして本能的な恐怖と、学習された恐怖。
　人里離れた森の中で、仲間と城壁に囲まれた都心では薄れている、自分の中にあるこの二つの恐れの違いをつぶさに観察していけば、このプレーリードッグや、人を襲う熊、人と戯れる熊の心情が、理解できてくるだろう。
