ウミアック珈琲の理想のカフェ

然別峡の奥深く原生林に囲まれた、スマホの電波も届かぬ場所で、ウミアック珈琲の理想のカフェをオープンしていた。カフェから10メートルの清流には温泉が沸く。

珈琲と森の香りを楽しんでくれたお客さんが10人を数えたところで、豆切れで看板を下ろす。

珈琲の香りで森を思い出してもらいたい。

Bird's eye view of the Colorado River

Making bird's eye view of the Colorado River from the source to the mouth with Google Earth because wanted to know and seeing it on a 4K display, I was very interested with its unusual stream, especially the magnificent scenery in Grand Canyon National Park and in contrast in the last disappearing water due to the usage for a lifeline of Los Angeles, agricultures and industries. This river tells us the history of the Earth, the history of humankind, and more. Want to raft down it.

Remaking in 4K, Yukon River Bird's Eye View. I very prefer the view of Yukon Flats which starts at 23:30.

Even though I cannot kayak, still my heart can fly high above rivers. I made a movie, bird's eye view of Mississippi River. Amazingly its source is located not in mountains, but is located a very flat plain with so many lakes. Seeing this is looks like something seeing US history.

美術屋・百兵衛

美術雑誌の「美術屋・百兵衛」に「音と絵」を連載している多摩美術大学の高橋周平さんが、いま本屋の棚に上がっている52号で私の事を取り上げてくれました。ありがとうございます。 美術誌！想像だにしなかった。人生とは不思議な旅。 私が周平さんの授業に招かれ話したアラスカの原野が、ご自身のインドでの体験と融合して、新たな活字が組まれています。とても素敵なエッセイです。 『11月の上旬、カヌーイストの山田龍太さんを私の所属大学にお招きして、講義をいただいた。……そのお話の中ですごく印象に残ったのが、「静寂」という環境だった。……失ったものは二度と還らない。冴えた月光のマジックは暗闇を手放したときからもう蘇ることはない。……原生林を手付かずのままにおいておかないと、結局人間が大きな損をする。原生林にしか存在しない完全な静寂は、人間の感覚を拡張してみせられる、唯一の環境なのだ。（高橋周平）』
